Introducing a new variation on Deering's most popular banjo, the look of the Goodtime Deco banjo is inspired by the American Art Deco design movement of the 1920s, featuring a distinct new inlay design and peghead engraving. The hardware is finished in a beautiful and durable US Bronze powder finish, which is not only hypoallergenic, it won’t tarnish! It also now features a comfortable armrest and as always, the Goodtime banjo is made in the U.S.A. It still has the playability and tone that the Goodtime banjo is famous for, and is light enough to bring with you anywhere.
The Goodtime Deco is the first of the new Goodtime Deco Series and is based on the most popular model, the Goodtime Openback, which has been a fan favorite since its original release in 1996.
The new Goodtime Deco is built upon the same 4 pillars of the Goodtime Principle, (Quality, Tone, Value, and Playability) but with the addition of a stunning aesthetic inspired by the vibrant American Art Deco design movement of the 1920s when the banjo reigned as America's most beloved instrument. Impeccably designed, the Goodtime Deco banjos showcases timeless Art Deco inspired hardwood inlays with an engraved Art Deco motif in the peghead.
The hardware boasts a beautiful and durable US Bronze powder finish, perfectly accentuating the banjo's overall Art Deco-inspired appearance.
