The Deluxe Scheitholt has a more traditional and slightly larger rectangular body than the standard, and features an intricate wooden lace soundhole rosette. It has a black walnut body and Western red cedar top. This instrument has four strings running over a scalloped fretboard one of which is a bass string. Four unfretted drones including one bass string run along side. The fingerboard includes a 6-1/2 fret. It is tuned with zither pins and a T-wrench. 2" x 5-1/4" x 37-1/2".
